Thing 6, 7, 8-update

It's been almost a year since I last posted here. How sad. I guess that longer I have been away, the harder it is to log back in and catch up. My niece's painting hasn't changed since the last post and I think Jason is probably tired of having my easel set up in the living room. Here are some updates on some things:

Thing 6: I am going to delete this (promote to unit manager in lia sophia) from my goal list as I am no longer doing lia sophia. I believe in the company and think that people can easily earn a good income doing fun jewelry shows with the company. I recommend signing up to people who are interested. For me though, just like much else in my life, I have a hard time following through on things. I grew tired of what felt like hounding people when they didn't get back to me with a party date. If the business was just doing the shows, I would love it. Maybe I could just hire someone to book all the parties for me and I would just show up ad do them. That would be perfect. Anyway, I think it would be a perfect job for someone who has a little more motivation than me.

Thing 7: I am going to delete this (Find a TESOL program online) because I am leaving my job soon and don't know that I would like to continue teaching ESL in the future. Hopefully if I do, my 4 years of experience running a program and teaching will be enough for them to hire me on.

Thing 8: I have completed Thing #8! I have used up 5 containers of specialty beauty products and am now moving this to the completed list.

I will try to update more soon and put up new goals on my list.

Well, I finally started on Emma's painting! Here I am finishing up the color blocking.

Updates

Ok, so I have made a couple changes. First, I am not going to do the whole use a beauty product everyday for a month because if I miss one day then I have to start over. And I know myself well enough to know that that will never happen. So my new goal is to use up 5 containers of my specialty beauty products. That is much more doable.

Also, I signed up another lia sophia advisor under me! I am getting closer and closer to meeting my goal! I can't tell you how excited I am about this company. I hope those of you who read this know me well enough to know this is the first Multi Level Marketing Company I have been REALLY excited about. There is so much potential, it is awesome! The thing I love the most is that I don't have to be pushy in selling things or recruiting advisors. So far, my new advisors have searched me out, and the jewelry sells itself. Anyway, forgive my little spiel. :] Here I am with my new advisor's application.


Also, I added another list on my side bar. I am now going to add a book that I recommend every week. I am not going to write a review. You will just have to trust me. :]

New Thing #8

In my last audition, the director told me that I had the best headshot she has seen in years (thanks Jason!). So.... I guess I don't need a new one....

Therefore, I am going to try to use up the all the beauty products I have in my cupboard.


I like specialty beauty products but don't end up using them very often. So in an effort to clean out my cupboard and pamper myself, I want to use one product each day. As you can see, I have plenty.

Thing #6- Update

Well, I signed up another adviser with Lia Sophia. Her starter party is tomorrow! She seems really excited so I am glad. This means that I am closer to promoting to Unit Manager.

Thing #6-Completed

I booked my 4 parties. In fact, I have already done 3 parties and have about 6 left on the schedule. At each party I have given I have booked more parties. So, I think I am doing well. Last night, I made $300 in about an hour and a half. And really, that was just for going to a party. I guess you could call me Paris Hilton..... or not.

New Thing #6

I guess I will stick with the Lia Sophia theme and designate my next thing #6 as "Promote to Unit manager". This took my manager about 6 months. So it is more a long term goal. That is good because I can work on some of my other things.

New Thing #6 - Book first 4 Lia Sophia parties

So.  I have to decided to sign up with Lia Sophia just make some extra money.  I like the feeling of being in direct control of how much I make so that is what draws me to selling things.  I don't however, like the selling part!  I am not the greatest salesperson.  So there is always this conflict in me about starting.  

To sign up, I have to have 4 parties booked so that I have a good foundation for selling the jewelry in the future.  I have two parties booked already so I just need to find two more.  So, this is my new thing 6.  

New Thing #7 - Find a TESOL class online

I need to find a class where I can get a certification in TESOL.  It will help me in many ways.  But I want to find one online so I can do it at my own pace or something.  Dunno if there is something that meets all those requirements, but if there is, I will find it!
